PBIS/Pax

Our district believes introducing, modeling, and reinforcing positive social behavior is an important step of a student's educational experience. Teaching behavioral expectations and rewarding students for following them is a much more positive approach than waiting for misbehavior to occur before responding. The purpose of implementing a school wide Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) framework is to establish a climate in which appropriate behavior is the norm, positively impacts student outcomes and academic success.
Etna Elementary utilizes PAX in our building. The PAX Good Behavior Game™ (PAX GBG) teaches students self-regulation, self-control and self-management while collaborating with others for peace, productivity, health & happiness.

Check out our Etna Elementary Expectation slides below that we call PAXpectations. Help us support your student at home and at school by reading the expectations while at school or on the bus.
